We welcome writers and photographers to connect with us about lending your time and talent to our organization, either as regular or occasional contributors.
- Souhegan High School Sports Teams – help keep the community informed about the variety of sports at SHS
- Senior Living – seeking a mature and compassionate storyteller to focus on senior-related happenings and topics
- Local Arts Scene – review and inform about the local arts scene, from new musical groups and local shows to art exhibits
- Other – share your interest and insight into your topic of choice – cooking, parenting, nature appreciation…
Board Members
We are seeking community members to join the board of our new nonprofit community newspaper. We are looking for those with diverse skills and perspectives who believe in the value of local journalism and who want to play a meaningful role in a growing, community-driven startup.
- Provide guidance, governance, and oversight for overall organization health and long-term sustainability
- Strong community connections; willing to serve as ambassadors in the community
- Attend one meeting per month and participate in committees/special projects as needed
- Collaborative and mission-driven
- Prior nonprofit board experience a plus but not required
